Take a look at our latest and greatest product photography shoot for myorganincjuice.com. Ben Fox, the founder of My Organic Juice, came to us asking can we make these juices ‘pop’! He had tried the green screen route with another photographer and thing didn’t work out… With the help of lot’s of acrylic, specialist Savage paper, black card, rulers, a very steady tripod and lot’s of patience we came up with the images!
If you’re asking how we got the labels exactly right, check back another time and we’ll tell you how we did it! 🙂
4th Avenue Photography (www.4thavephoto.com), Robyn and Octavio… We go way back, we have worked together on projects for Lululemon and their own fitness company Octfit (www.octfit.com) so it made sense that they came to us as their first choice for their wedding photography.
The setting was the beautiful Boca Beach Club in Boca Raton. We loved the simplicity of the affair, a 10am service on the beach followed by the reception at the club with brunch. It was all over by 3pm leaving the guests to enjoy all of what the Boca Beach Club has to offer. 🙂
Taking photos on the beach in the noon day sun in Florida is tricky, the light is blinding. Polarizing filters and camera mounted flashes are essential for the job, expose for the sky and hit them with light is the trick. We used Canon 5D MKIII for the job with Canon 24-70mm lenses. Perfect? See for yourself 🙂
Kaoir cosmetics is fast becoming an iconic brand in the US with founder and designer Keisha Kaoir at the helm. They came to the Delray Beach studio us for photography of their latest line of matte lipsticks and lip pencils.

“As an eco-friendly salon we wanted to present something for fashion week to support our message that fashion and beauty can be environmentally concious while still being gorgeous. We loved the idea of a ‘Recycled Runway & Vintage Trunk Show’ as a platform for eco-chic beauty and vintage couture – something not normally represented during fashion week. It’s a great opportunity to highlight the recyled and vintage fashion from the local shops, while raising money for the Delray Beach Center for the Arts – an organization that truly enriches our community. A BIG Thank you to the Delray Beach DDA for putting together such an amazing Fashion Week every year – we are honored to be a part of it!” – Janine Shuman (NAKeD Hair Salon & More).
“Having worked on a number of artistic projects together from fashion to photoshoots to video, we not only love working with Janine and Adam, we build off each other’s ideas creating something even greater – together. Our synergy has resulted in some truly beautiful work and we’re beyond excited to bring this partnership to Delray Fashion Week while raising money for our town’s beloved Delray Beach Center for the Arts. It’s going to be a fun, fantastic event!” – Lori Sturgess (4th Avenue Photography & Video)

Fashion, runway shows, look books, webpage images plus getting all of the photos edited and sized everyone’s skin looks beautiful and the hair is perfect, makeup applied and 10 people in the studio at one point last Saturday… It’s been a busy couple of weeks and we haven’t even swept up yet!
Take a look at this speeded up clip from the last shoot, 5 hours preparation and shooting in 30 seconds…
Angela Orecchio is a fitness fanatic, this was very clear when we met for her first photo shoot with 4thavephoto.com… I got the call on an early Saturday morning in Fort Lauderdale “i’m going to be a few minutes late, I just gave to get some fruit before we start!”
Angela lives and breath fitness and well being, The Yachtie Glow is dedicated to inspiring other yacht crew and world travelers to become the healthiest, fittest and happiest version of themselves.
Our brief was to create images of Angela in action for her blog at http://www.angelaorecchio.com we think we did the trick, in fact 2 of her photos are on display at our Delray Beach studio.
This shoot took quite a bit of planning and deception from this pro photographer. We received a call from a friend of Adam explaining he would like to propose to his girlfriend and she was to have no idea that it was about to happen. This in itself is not unusual but this time we were going to be part of the conspiracy…
I arranged a photo shoot on Juno beach with Elizabeth on the pretense that the shots were going to used for an upcoming yoga exhibition and
Adam would arrive on the beach unexpectedly and propose… Theplan worked perfectly 🙂 and we got some great yoga shots during a spectacular sunrise and one of the most romantic proposals we have captured.
For you techies out there this is how we did it…
Canon mk3 with 24-105mm lens, exposing for the sky in ever changing sunrise light with 2 Canon 600ex speedlites on my near and far right triggered remotely – 1/100 sec, f9.0, ISO800.
It’s that time again, Lululemon time! Every year we spans a week following the Lululemon Ambassadors to to the gyms and yoga studios to capture them in action. The photos are used for commercial and promotional materials, you can also see them on the walls of the Boca Town Center mall. http://www.lululemon.com/bocaraton/bocaraton
The ambassador program celebrates individuals that ‘give back’ to the local community
“We have a challenge for the right photographer” said the voice on the other end of the phone… A Vietnamese ceremony on the morning and a traditional western wedding in the afternoon. Sean and Linda celebrated twice in style, the wedding in the morning was full of Vietnam style and tradition, the giving of traditional gifts including a pig, honoring their ancestors and formal introductions and welcomes to the family.
The afternoon was a blast, the bride is a self confessed Star Wars nut and it showed. After a beautiful Catholic ceremony the bride and groom entered the dining room at The Abacoa Golf Club, Jupiter, FL to an honor guard of lightsabers complete with a Star Wars inspired cake and decorations. A day full of love, fun and a little geeky fantasy.
